"Not flesh of my flesh nor bone of my bone
But still miraculously my own."

Mary Eliza was born on April 3, 2012 and came home with us on April 29. We are so excited to have her with us and to start our lives together.
Our journey through adoption has been a bumpy road, but it is all worth it to have this beautiful, healthy baby in our midst. Check back often as this site will be updated with more pictures, links and information.

Mary was born April 3rd in Phoenix, AZ. Her birthmom was young and not in a position to parent her, and decided to place her for adoption via Catholic Charities. Mary was healthy, but tiny-only 4 lbs at birth, she went to a transition home from the hospital. Mary’s birthmom chose us to be her parents last Thursday, and we were blessed to have her become our daughter just yesterday. There is some legal paperwork that still needs to move through the channels, that is to be expected at this point, and we don’t anticipate any problems from this point as far as the adoption goes.
We want to thank everyone who has supported us while we were going through this process for the last 3 years. There have been many moments of disappointments and drama, and we would not have made it through without the love, prayers, and support of our friends and family.
We are overjoyed at our new little arrival. Okay, now on to parenthood….there’s no more bumps ahead, right? Oh yes, that’s right, I think we heard somewhere this is just the start!!! Our precious, chosen, baby has arrived-we anticipate that the world will welcome the newest Moneypenny with open and loving arms!!!
Love, Walter & Martha

Our little girl has been in the water since she was about 6 weeks old. She is taking weekly "lessons" which are helping her be more comfortable in the water. When it comes time to learn to swim she will be a natural!
